“What we’re able to achieve is a marriage between what we do on the residential side - which is very much about luxury and comfort - and what we’re able to achieve on the engineering side for hospitality with durability and meeting performance standards,” said Chief Executive Officer David Bennett. “When a customer comes to us, they have a vision. EJ Victor | Hospitality has worked with a number of in-demand designers such as Ken Fulk, Chenault James and Joni Vanderslice on projects ranging from the furniture heartlands of North Carolina to Miami, Aspen, Las Vegas and beyond.
Even as designers experience EJ Victor’s ability to customize both existing and brand new pieces, they’re getting the same thing every customer has received since 1990: the satisfaction of knowing their furniture is hand-made by craftspeople who have spent decades perfecting the art of furniture making.
“The quality has 100 percent to do with the quality of the people working here,” said John Jokinen, EJ Victor’s founder and current Chief Creative Office. Jokinen noted that many of EJ Victor’s craftspeople were recruited from the beginning with the help of other furniture industry experts who, “helped us select the artisans that we have, many of whom still work with us today.”
